Galanthus nivalis 'Tippy Green' is a cheerful, strong-growing snowdrop. It has unusually long inner segments, each with an inverted green 'V' over the sinus, and each outer segment has a small and attractive green mark at its tip, which is presumably where the name came from originally. The leaves are upright and blue-green.
It was selected by Gerard Oud of Andijk, in the Netherlands, in 2007 and registered a few years later. Here in the North West it flowers around mid-February.
