Galanthus 'Chameleon' is a really eye-catching snowdrop which pairs a green ovary with a bright yellow mark on the inner segments, a combination that always draws people in for a closer look. The mark sits at the tip of the inners as a neat inverted 'U' over the sinus, and the clean white outers set it off beautifully.
The flowers are of a good, pleasing shape and hang from slender pedicels, so they move gently in the breeze. Here in the North West, it flowers from late January into early February.
True to its name, I understand the inner mark opens a greenish-yellow and deepens to a richer yellow as the flower matures. I believe it came from Richard Bashford and Valerie Bexley at Woodchippings in 2017, with G. x valentinei, and possibly 'Blonde Inge', in its background. Now and then the outers can show a touch of yellow near the tips too.
Some of the background here comes from Freda Cox's book, A Gardener's Guide to Snowdrops. I've included it in good faith, but please treat it as a helpful guide rather than gospel.
