Galanthus 'Dymock' is a snowdrop named by the late John Sales. Freda Cox and the monograph both record that it was found at Dymock in Gloucestershire in 1997, and the monograph suggests it's a hybrid, possibly with ikariae as one parent. I am a huge fan of this plant and love to see it in flower. The foliage is a brighter green colour which does suggest ikariae, and the leaf form does suggest a split between elwesii and ikariae. A very vigorous snowdrop that is just very lovely. Not all singing and dancing but, unique enough to distinguish it from a distance in almost every collection. Just another wonderful plant that I am particularly fond of.
