Galanthus plicatus ‘Vera Trum’ - A lovely little plicatus, found by John Morley at Henham Hall, Suffolk. The outers of the large flower have a puckered/seersucker texture to them. The inners show a very small, thin and delicate inverted ‘V’ marking at the sinus. Foliage is wide and short – the plant named due to the foliage bearing a resemblance to that of the plant Veratrum. This snowdrop is easily identifiable and is just a beauty. It’s well up there with my favourites in my collection. It is happy in the garden and increases relatively well.
