Galanthus nivalis 'Cornwood' is a very tall, green-tipped, nivalis cultivar; unusually so for the species. I personally have my doubts as to whether this is pure nivalis at all... It has very erect leaves and a very pleasant green wash to the apex of the outers. This plant forms a clump relatively quickly and starts flowering around the middle of January for me. 'Cornwood' was found by Peter Glover on the Delamore Estate in Cornwood, Devon.
