Galanthus elwesii 'Claud Biddulph' is a beauty. A lovely virescent snowdrop from Rodmarton Manor; the home of the Biddulph family. The green wash on the outer segments is excellent, although slightly more prominent to the tips than further up, to the base. It starts flowering here around early to mid February and it is one that I really enjoy seeing every year. It is a slower increaser than I would like but does well in the garden here in the North West.
Many of my snowdrops are available in very small numbers. Sign up to hear about new plants, blog posts and events like Cheshire Snowdrop Day. No spam, ever, and you can unsubscribe any time.
