Galanthus x valentinei ‘Dryad Gold Ribbon’ - One of the Dryad Gold series of yellow snowdrops. All of these clones were produced by Anne Wright of Dryad Nursery and come from the same batch of seedlings of a cross of G. plicatus ‘Wendy’s Gold’ and G. nivalis ‘Sandersii’. ‘Dryad Gold Ribbon’ is a beautiful clone. It has rounded flowers that are more pointy than other clones for me, with an excellent large heart-shaped golden inner marking. Like the others in the series, the yellow is very vibrant. A nice height of around 15 cm, this plant, like all of the Dryad Golds is an excellent doer and increases exceptionally well. All of the Dryad Gold snowdrops in my collection were originally acquired directly from Dryad Nursery. They are all brilliant garden plants.
