Galanthus x valentinei 'Dryad Gold Charm'

Galanthus x valentinei ‘Dryad Gold Charm’ - One of the Dryad Gold series of yellow snowdrops. All of these clones were produced by Anne Wright of Dryad Nursery and come from the same batch of seedlings of a cross of G. plicatus ‘Wendy’s Gold’ and G. nivalis ‘Sandersii’. ‘Dryad Gold Charm’ is a very attractive plant.  It’s charm, to me, is in its smaller size and large and bold inner marking.  It has excellent yellow colouring and, like ‘Dryad Gold Bullion’ and ‘ Dryad Gold Star’, is a lot more compact in size than some of the others in the series.  This plant, like all of the Dryad Golds, is an excellent doer and increases exceptionally well.  All of the Dryad Gold snowdrops in my collection were originally acquired directly from Dryad Nursery.  They are all brilliant garden plants.
