It’s a colour changer – the inner marking starts green and gradually changes to a beautiful yellow (almost a golden orange colour to me).  You can see the original green in one of the photos from when the flower first opens.  It then changes to the yellow as per the other photos.  This snowdrop is really early.  It normally flowers in mid-December and stays in flower for a few weeks.  However, it is flowering earlier and earlier every year and I have had this in flower as early as the second week in November here in the North West.  A great addition to any snowdrop collection.  It also increases very quickly and is just a great plant all round in my opinion.  The plant is one from the galanthophile, Hagen Engelmann, of Germany.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"WRJ SNOWDROPS","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55454820073798,"sku":null,"price":45.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0970\/0701\/0118\/files\/SchorbuserIrrlicht-CR1_2434.jpg?v=1763631226","url":"https:\/\/www.wrjsnowdrops.co.uk\/products\/schorbuser-irrlicht","provider":"WRJ SNOWDROPS","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
